HdrCapture
From SCIEN
High dynamic range (HDR) image capture refers to methods for combining multiple images into a single, image that represents scene intensities. We have been studying the dynamic range of natural scenes and the dynamic range of consumer cameras. HDR methods are needed whenever the range of a scene exceeds the range of the capture device. HDR captures are straightforward in principle but can challenging in practice. We (Feng Xiao, Joyce Farrell, Jeff DiCarlo, Peter Catrysse, Brian Wandell) have developed a set of software tools to assist with the processing.
