Gayle Deutsch, PhD
Gayle received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology at Drexel University. She completed a predoctoral internship at the Brain Behavior Laboratory, Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania. She received specialized training in clinical neuropsychology at the Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. She was the Staff Neuropsychologist at the New Jersey Neuroscience Institute and Assistant Professor of Neuroscience at Seton Hall University, Graduate School of Medical Education.
After relocating to the Bay Area, she was a Research Scientist for Scientific Learning Corporation, Oakland, CA where she conducted outcomes studies investigating computerized intervention programs for children and adults. She currently is a licensed psychologist in the state of California and Senior Research Scientist-Clinical for the Stanford Institute of Reading and Learning at Stanford University. Additionally she is a Neuropsychologist and Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of Neurology and Neurological Sciences at Stanford University Medical Center. Her research interests are the neural basis of dyslexia and learning disorders and cognitive disorders in epilepsy.
